From the moment I arrived at High Rigg B&B, I felt right at home. The warm welcome with a cup of tea and delicious chocolate cake set the tone for a delightful stay. The hosts, Mike and Kim, were exceptional, always going above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The double aspect room I stayed in was peaceful and beautifully decorated, with a luxurious bathroom featuring a huge bath. The fluffy towels added an extra touch of luxury. Breakfast each morning was a highlight, with a delicious variety of options to choose from. The stunning garden and views provided a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The location, although not right in Helmsley, offered a tranquil setting that more than made up for the slight distance. I can't recommend High Rigg B&B highly enough. It truly exceeded all my expectations and I can't wait to return.

We had the most amazing stay at High Rigg B&B! The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and we were treated to a delicious homemade chocolate cake with our tea upon arrival. The atmosphere was so relaxed, allowing us to completely chill out in the beautiful surroundings. The owners had great local knowledge and even lent us some helpful books with information on eating places, pubs, and interesting places to visit. The countryside nearby was absolutely stunning, with lovely villages to explore. The breakfast served was first-class, beautifully presented and cooked exactly to our liking. We truly felt like friends, leaving with the intention of returning in the future.
We felt very fortunate during our stay and have no reason to complain.
